Have you tried polycarbonate drinkware/kitchen what-not? How does it hold up, esp in the dishwasher?

“Dishwasher use: Polycarbonate tableware is commercial dishwasher safe and will not cloud and craze like acrylic glasses. NOTE for Residential Users: Many residential dishwashers feature heated-water systems that can exceed commercial temperatures and damage polycarbonate. (ie: Brands like Bosch and others with Energy-Star rated water heating systems). Please consult your dishwasher user’s guide for a delicate/lower heat cycle to prevent damage to plasticware.”
…how’s that go over in a non-heated-water dishwasher?
Is it worth it? If you’re hand-washing, does grease cling to it like it does regular plastic? Where’s a nice set at a good price? Etc, etc…
